We are excited to run again in the Pine Tree Apple Classic 5K! Our 5 year old daughter Elsie is a cancer survivor and a patient at Children's Hospital. She is over 18 months cancer free! We are so incredibly grateful for the care she received at Childrens Hospital. Your donation to our team run will support research at Children's Hospital to find cures for ALL types of childhood cancer, as well as better outcomes for every patient.
While Elsie is thriving she continues to struggle with her recovery from neuropathy, a long term side affect of chemotherapy. Children's hospital is a leader in long term and outpatient treatment of this disorder. We are so fortunate to have dedicated physical therapists working with Elsie to rebuild her strength and coordination. Among many other things, donations received at Pine tree help fund Children's Hospitals research of this condition. Your support will directly help Elsie, and other childhood cancer survivors like her, get back to the important business of being a kid!
