Contest Details:

  • Check-in begins: 9 a.m.

  • Judging begins: 9:30 a.m.

  • Spots available: Only 15 slots per contest category — first come, first served!

  • Entry fee: A $10 donation to SPCA Serving Erie County 

  • All entrants will receive an email with details prior to the event.

All proceeds benefit SPCA Serving Erie County and the animals in our community.

CONTEST CATEGORIES AND PRIZES

1. Best Costume Contest

  • 1st Prize: $50 prize, prize ribbon, and  & Prize Ribbon and waived 2027 Paws in the Park registration fee!

2. Best Trick Contest

  • 1st Prize: $50 prize, prize ribbon, and waived 2027 Paws in the Park registration fee!

3. Dog Hot Dog Eating Contest

  • 1st Prize: $50 prize, prize ribbon, and waived 2027 Paws in the Park registration fee!

PLUS:

  • Judge’s and Emcee’s Special Prizes: 1 prize of $50!

RULES AND CONDITIONS

  • All costumes must be appropriate for viewers of all ages.

  • All entrants must pre-register.

  • All entrants must check in before the event begins.

  • Participants must compete in the category they signed up for (no switching day-of).

  • $10 is the minimum donation amount for entry (anything extra helps care for local animals!).
