Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! My Story
Hello!
My name is Tarkel Price, and I play Trombone in the MYS Repertory Orchestra. This is my first year with MYS, but I have been playing in school ensembles for four years. MYS has been an amazing experience. It is truly an honour to work with such talented and dedicated musicians, directors, and sectional coaches.
Our programme is an amazing opportunity for young musicians to work with world class mentors, but it wouldn't be possible without your support. Tuition only accounts for 40% of our annual costs: generous donations from people like you cover the rest. Will you please consider donating to Minnesota Youth Symphonies? Even if you cannot support us financially, you can support us by coming to our free Play-a-Thon concert on 15 December 2018 at the Rosedale Shopping Center from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We appreciate your support of MYS and youth musicians everywhere!
