Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello, my name is Kai and I play in the Symphony Orchestra with Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played violin for about 10 years, and this is my 4th year with MYS. I love going to rehearsal each Saturday because the conducting is amazing and the number of wonderful musicians surrounding me makes the musical experience one of a kind! I hope to be part of this group for the rest of my high school years.
