This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello my name is Sofia and I play the oboe and English horn in the Repertory orchestra of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). This is my 3rd year in MYS and I really enjoy it! My favorite part of MYS rehearsals is my director Claudette.  Each week she pushes me to be my best.  MYS is important to me because it has helped me grow into a better musician and a better person.
