Help me teach kids about pigs!

Your donation will help provide scholarships for children to learn about agriculture and sustainability!

I joined the Camp Fitch family in winter of 2016 as a member of the equestrian team. Over the past three-ish years, I've seen hundreds and hundreds of times what an amazing effect nature can have on a child, especially a child with social anxiety, depression, or learning disabilities. Nature doesn't ask for anything except love and patience, and in return we receive the opportunity to help something grow. As the Camp Fitch farm manager, I want to create a summer camp experience that helps kids who are disconnected from the outdoors rediscover how beautiful both the world and their lives can be through gardening and caring for animals.

Everytime an underprivileged child collects eggs from a chicken they helped raise or eats sugar snap peas they helped grow, they are gaining a sense of control over their own lives and health. These are the kids who need Camp Fitch the most, who need the Camp Fitch farm the most, and who need you the most! That's why I'm asking you to please help me support the Fitch for All Initiative. Your donation will help provide scholarships for low-resource children to come to summer camp, including the kids who will spend a Farm Focus week with me this summer learning about where their food comes from. For children who have never experienced working alongside nature, the opportunity to study sustainability and regenerative agriculture with their peers is life-changing. Your money will help bring those kids to Camp Fitch!

If you can afford to donate, thank you. If that's not something you're able to do at the moment, please consider sharing this page!
