Do you remember looking up at the night sky as a kid?  My dad would always take us outside to look at the stars when we were kids.  He’d point out planets, constellations, satellites and if we were lucky we’d see a shooting start.  It was magical. When I worked at Camp Fitch, I realized that not every kid gets a chance to do that.  Sometimes school groups would come up as part of a field trip and they would be scared at night because they lived in an area with tons of street lights and had never seen the dark before.  When we’d take them for night hikes, for many it was the first time they’d seem the night sky.  Could you imagine growing up and never seeing the stars in all their glory?  Camp Fitch gives that opportunity to kids who would never have had the chance.  One of the many reasons I support camp is because of experiences like this.  Camp Fitch works hard to make sure all kids have access to nature.  They provide scholarships to camp for those who cannot afford it, and help the best they can with transportation costs so school groups can experience the great outdoors!  Please join me in supporting camp so that ALL kids can see the stars!  #Fitchforall
