Heart and Sole Walk for the Animals 2023

The Potter League's vital fundraiser, the 34^th annual Heart & Sole Walk for Animals is on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Fort Adams in Newport, RI.

This year, I am raising funds in memory of my sister, Margaret (Peggy) Caron (pictured). She loved animals, especially cats, and adopted several beloved kitties from Potters. She was also Aunty Peg to all of my cats. She generously supported my fundraising efforts for the Walk for many years.

As a longtime volunteer (20 years!), I see much of what this wonderful organization achieves. Lots of animals get a second (sometimes third or fourth) chance in loving new homes. The Potter League could not do their important work without the support of animal lovers like you.

Your donation will help provide food, medical care, and a new beginning for thousands of homeless animals this year. In addition, you will be supporting the spay/neuter program, behavior helpline, mobile food pantry, and outreach clinics. These are only a few of the many programs provided by the Potter League.
