Both girls have participated in the Wave Swim team for 6 years.  They have learned valuable life lessons.  These include making friends, setting goals, working hard, managing time and being part of a team.  I am proud to support the Y, Wave Swim Team and coaches.

During campaign training I toured the Community Teen Center.  Teens from grade 8 - 12 are invited here at no charge.  It's a clean, safe space with caring adult role models.  When I was there teens were making dinner.  Learning that 4,916 children in La Crosse County cannot depend on a meal at home makes me see how the Teen Center helps those in need.  I'm proud to support the Y.  Please join me.
