My Campaign to Support YMCA Arts and Humanities

Join us for a Country Campaign Hoedown to support dance and all arts and humanities programs at the YMCA! Learn many popular line dances in a fun, welcoming atmosphere, while supporting the Y's Annual Campaign. A fun night out for moms and dads, and bring your friends! No previous dance experience is necessary. Cost of admission is a gift of any amount to the Y's Annual Campaign. Pledge cards available at the event. If you cannot join us, but want to make a gift, you can do so from this page using the "Make a Gift Now" button. Hoedown details: May 17th, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Location: Houser YMCA in Onalaska

I am a long-time YMCA member and mom of a Y dancer.  My daughter, Alison, danced at the Y from the time she was 4 years old.  Tammy Addleman was her first pre-school ballet teacher, and over the years she became an important mentor to Ali.  After many years in the dance programs, Ali began teaching dance at the Y, which she continued through high school and college.  Alison is now a Youth and Family Program Director at a YMCA branch in Kansas.

The YMCA has always been a positive place to spend our time.  I've always appreciated that in addition to helping others maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is also a place where families can explore the arts, including dance, martial arts, music lessons, and art classes.

I hope you will consider a donation to the YMCA's Annual Campaign this year, and join me at the Country Campaign Hoedown on May 17th!

Thank you!
