Mandi Fultz Bishop, our local speaker,  is stepping up to the mic for the first time to share a story 20 years in the making — a journey of strength, survival, and staying true to what matters most. A proud breast cancer survivor of two decades, Mandi’s story is one of grit, grace, and gratitude.

She is the Vice President of The Answer Network, a 24/7/365 call center service that helps businesses grow by never missing a call. Mandi also co-owns Twin Creeks Brewing Company, a local brewery and taproom built on good beer, strong community, and lots of heart.

A lifelong resident of Southwest Virginia, Mandi is deeply passionate about helping and uplifting her local community. She volunteers her time to support multiple charities and loves spending time with her family at the beach, curled up with a great book, or out on the golf course. She and her husband Andy are the proud parents of two daughters, Jarrett and Katie, who inspire her every day.

Mandi may not be a professional speaker — but she is a real one, with a story worth hearing.

Where Your Money Goes

Annually in Virginia, 8,180 women and men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 1,160 will lose their battle with breast cancer. The money raised through the Power of Pink Luncheon provides Virginians with support, resources, and ways to get involved and take action.

VBCF offers individualized resource coordination; breast health education; support kits for newly diagnosed patients, caregivers, and survivors; advocacy for improved health public policy and research dollars for the state; and funding for the Southwest Virginia Screening and Diagnostic Fund. This fund was established in 2022 and has provided more than 1,040 patients with almost 1,950 tests, resulting in 30 diagnoses treated in Southwest Virginia through partnerships with Augusta Health, Ballad Health Johnston Memorial, Carilion Roanoke and Franklin, Centra Health, and our newest partner, Lewis Gale Pulaski, Hospitals.

VBCF is a 501(c) 3 organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service with federal tax identification number 54-1633519. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
