About the Power of Pink Luncheon and Fashion Show

The Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation is thrilled to host the 2026 Richmond Power of Pink Luncheon and Fashion Show presented by Virginia Women's Center! Join us on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, at the Jefferson Hotel in downtown Richmond, Virginia, to raise funds and support for breast cancer access, education, and awareness.

The Richmond Power of Pink Luncheon and Fashion Show highlights how fashion and breast cancer are intertwined for many women on their breast cancer journey, through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. In its second year, Fashion on the Journey brings an amazing group of breast cancer survivor and thriver models to The Jefferson Hotel to showcase their style, power, and resiliency as they overcome challenges related to breast cancer and their bodies – all from their personal perspectives. Our 2025 Inaugural Fashion Show brought laughter, tears, and cheers from our models and the audience, and we look forward to continuing this enthusiastic and cathartic energy in 2026!

Jennifer Marshall

Jennifer Marshall is a born-and-raised Virginian from Goochland. She graduated from Radford University with a B.S. in Advertising and began her career in advertising before becoming an insurance agent, where she has worked for the past 14 years.

Jennifer is a proud wife, mom, and stepmom. She married her husband—her best friend—in April 2023, and just months later received the joyful news that she was pregnant. Becoming a mother had always been a dream of hers.

In March 2024, during a challenging pregnancy, Jennifer felt a lump. After advocating for herself, an ultrasound and biopsy confirmed Stage 3A triple-positive breast cancer at 39 years old. Two months early, she gave birth to her daughter—and just three days later began her first chemotherapy treatment.

Since then, Jennifer has faced months of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, radiation, and ongoing hormone-blocking treatments. Through it all, she has approached her journey with resilience, strength, and deep gratitude. Her husband reminded her to start and end each day with gratitude, even in the most difficult moments.

Today, Jennifer is proud to be two years cancer-free. She moves forward with humility and thankfulness, knowing she is one of the lucky ones. While her daughter may not know it yet, Jennifer believes she played a profound role in saving her life.

Jennifer is honored to participate in the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation Fashion Show, representing hope, strength, and the power of second chances.
