The cat in the photo is Otis, as a neighborhood stray in Oregon before he adopted my husband Philip and I. There is a special place in my heart for stray and feral cats.
I have had the privilege of being a relief spay/neuter surgeon for the Humane Society of Charlotte in NC for the past 2 weeks. I have been trapping feral cats that are a part of a colony next door to my brother's house in China Grove, NC. I have been taking them to work with me for spay/neuter surgery and vaccines then releasing them back into the colony. I have done TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) on 16 feral cats so far, and I still have another week before I return home to Oregon. My TNR efforts would not be possible without the support of the Humane Society of Charlotte.
Please help me give back to the Humane Society of Charlotte by making a donation!
