September is my birthday. It's also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Something you might not know: there are very very few cancer treatments for kids - they fight cancer with highly toxic adult drugs. They're facing a two headed monster: cancer and highly toxic drugs in their system. PPK and I are doing a fundraiser with the goal of raising $27,000 to fund a child's last chance clinical trial -- to help find less toxic, more targeted treatments for kids.
