This year, I am raising funds to support the planning and delivery of MoveIn conferences in Canada, Europe, and Latin America, creating spaces where people are encouraged, equipped, and inspired to continue serving where God has called them.

Over the years, as both a MoveIner and a member of the Vision Team, I’ve had the privilege of attending 14 MoveIn conferences across Canada, El Salvador, Germany, and Albania. I’ve become convinced that these gatherings are one of the key things that help hold our movement together.

For many MoveIners, the conference is a highlight of the year; a chance to spend four days connecting with others who truly understand the joys and challenges of living and serving in an unreached, urban-poor neighbourhood. This lifestyle is rewarding, but it can also be difficult and isolating at times. We need opportunities to encourage one another, share wisdom, and be equipped by experienced leaders and practitioners as we continue to follow the calling God has placed on our lives.

These conferences also provide a unique opportunity for young adults who are considering MoveIn to "come and see." By hearing stories firsthand and building relationships with long-term MoveIners, they gain a deeper understanding of the heart behind our movement.
