Until she can, words that have fueled me when I'm running.  My "why" has always been my sister Kristi.  She lived with Rett syndrome for 51 years and impacted everyone she met and made me the person I am.  Being her little sister was a gift that taught me so much and has brought so much to my life.  The biggest gift was her unconditional love and her smile that lit up the room. One of my goals of running was to one day push Kristi in one of the races I ran for her.  Unfortunately, Rett syndrome had other plans and I did not get to push her in a race before she passed away in November 2016.  It hurts that I never got to push her but I've been given the opportunity to push my friend Skylar with her mom in this years Princess half marathon.  Pushing Skylar will give her the opportunity to experience the wonder and awe of the Princess half marathon and will allow me to fulfill my goal in a way knowing Kristi will be watching from above.  

The money we raise goes to research and family support. Both of those are vital for our girls (& boys) and their families. Please help us change the road of Rett syndrome.  We were blessed to have Kristi for 51 years but that is not always the norm. Please help so our girls. (& boys) can live full, amazing lives.
