In February of 2018, Abby and I will run the Disney Princess Fairy Tale Challenge (10K on Saturday and Half-Marathon on Sunday) in honor of Chloe.  We will run with 150 others as a part of Team GP2C to raise awareness and research funds for Rett Syndrome.  Chloe, who is now 14, was diagnosed with Rett Sydnrome when she was 18 months old.  Chloe never reached the milestones of sitting, walking or talking and, although she was able to use her hands purposefully for a short time, she lost that ability around the age of 3.  Her body doesn't work as others do, but she is very smart and funny!  We are running becasue we believe that treatments and a cure are possible, as advances are continuously being made.
