I am running the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon in honor of a sweet girl named Lailah who suffers from Rett Syndrome, a debilitating neurological disorder. It is the leading genetic cause of severe impairment in girls, brought on by a single gene mutation that leads to underproduction of an important brain protein. There is no cure but Rett Syndrome is curable!
I am not a runner and have never run anything close to a half marathon but am so excited to do so. Your support would be incredibly appreciated.
