My Personal Fundraising Page
As most of you know, my daughter, Em, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome on August 11, 2015. When you have a child that has received a devastating disorder like RTT, you cannot help but want to get involved and make a difference. When I was made aware of the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend, I instantly jumped on board, even though I had never ran in any kind of race before. It was intimidating, terryfying to think about, and I often times thought that I could not do it. But I did. Last February, I ran my first 13.1 miles with team Girl Power to Cure and it was the most amazing experience. I am currently training for my next half in February of 2018. I am so thankful to have such an amazing support system for Em and our family. Thank you all for donating to a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts...I hope it will become dear to your's also!
