April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Promise of Hope brings awareness to the issue of child abuse and its impact on the children CASA serves. This event inspires community engagement through education and impactful storytelling. Event attendees will enjoy delicious food and drink options, entertainment, and an exciting auction. Cocktail attire is suggested for this event. 

Guests will also have the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium by purchasing a VIP ticket! VIP ticket holders will also receive KC Current swag, a specialty cocktail, early access to the event, and a pitch-side photo opportunity.

Special Guest - Olivia Pikul

Olivia's personal journey is a testament to resilience and determination. As an at-risk youth, she faced and overcame significant challenges and experiences that have driven her to give back in a variety of meaningful ways to children with similar backgrounds. Olivia's mission goes beyond mere volunteerism; she is fervently dedicated to inspiring others to open their hearts to individuals from all walks of life. Olivia lives by the Winston Churchill quote "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give," and is dedicated to showing others how easy, yet impactful it can be to spread kindness.

OUR EMCEE - JORDAN GALLANT

Jordan Gallant, a.k.a. JG, is a professional emcee and the founder of Kansas City Fashion. As someone who has experienced the joy of adoption firsthand and has family deeply involved in fostering and adopting, the mission of CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties holds a special place in his heart. When speaking to Jordan about this potential opportunity, he responded, “I’m honored to support CASA’s valuable work in helping children in our community find loving homes.”
