Thanks for visiting my page!   I believe that the Buddy Walk is about being buddies for life with one another, and also with people who do not share our Down syndrome, so that we can teach them who we are and what we need.  When I bring my nephew or my neighbor to the Buddy Walk, they get to meet people they might never meet, people who demand respect, and will keep fighting for change.

The Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound has been an important part of my life since its beginning.  Please help me reach my fundraising goal by contributing to this organization that means a lot to me. The Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound’s mission is to provide impactful programs and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families while evolving perceptions in the broader community.   Funds raised at the Puget Sound Buddy Walk® allow them to continue to offer their many programs, events, and initiatives, and to add more to meet the needs of their members.
