About the Buddy Walk
The Annual Puget Sound Buddy Walk celebrates our family and community members with Down syndrome; promotes their acceptance, inclusion and respect; and raises funds in support of the Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound (DSC).
This year the Buddy Walk will be held at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo and pre-registered attendees of the Buddy Walk can enjoy the zoo (all day) for FREE!
CoalGives Support
To support the Down Syndrome Community, and in honor of October being Down Syndrome Awareness Month, CoalGives plans to raise funds for the DSC through Donations, and also plans to have CoalGives team members attend the Buddy Walk on October 6.
To DONATE to the Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound and help CoalGives reach its team fundraising goal, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right.
To ATTEND the Buddy Walk (and visit the Woodland Park Zoo for free) on Sunday, October 6 click "Join Our Team!" and complete the registration before October 5 at noon.
Registration is free.
Donations are purely optional.
The CoalGives team plans to wear CoalGives T-shirts to the event.
Notes:
If you register as a "non-fundraising participant" you will be registered to attend the walk and enter the zoo, but you won't appear on this page as a fundraising team member.
If you register as a "fundraising participant" you will be registered to attend the walk and enter the zoo, and you will appear on this page as a team member. You will also be given your own personal fundraising page, but you are not obligated to set an individual goal.
