The work being done at Children's is just incredible. So many kids and their families are fighting so hard, and the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic does so much to help support these brave souls.
A dear friend of mine lost a loved one to children's cancer. Abe Fagerstrom passed away at age 10 after a couragous 7+ year battle with cancer. His and his family's story is a continuing motivation to me and other players to do all we can to help raise money for this cause. The Fagerstrom is just one of so many stories, so happy, but far too many have such tragic endings.
As I look at the picture of me and my granddaughters, Naya, Divia and Lila, I feel so blessed. And I'm hopeful that they continue long and healthy lives. But I try to approach this event as if my own grand daughters were ill, and what i would do to help.
So I passionately ask for your support in helping these children and their family's.
