My father fought cancer.  Looking back on that time, I can't believe how courageously he battled his disease, and with little complaint.  He always had hope.  Now imagine the same with a young child who doesn't understand completely what is happening to them.  On top of feeling ill, being poked, prodded, and long weeks spent in a hospital must be so hard for the child and their families.
