Teens in foster care are often forgotten during the holidays, especially those in group homes. Supplying gift cards to the teens allows them the freedom to select the items they really want!
And unfortunately children are still removed from their homes and placed into foster care over the holiday season so your support ensures that we have plenty of clothes, shoes, school supplies and hygiene items available to make the transition a little easier.
Every dollar raised has a huge impact on the kids! For example:
$25 provides a gift card for the holidays to a teen living in a group home who would otherwise have nothing.
$50 provides a backpack and supplies to help a child in foster care blend in with their peers at school.
$250 provides outfits/school uniforms for a week for a child who was just placed into foster care with nothing but dirty or stained clothing.
