Puppies for Survivors Fundraiser

Event Description

Hey, puppies are awesome. So is getting involved in a great cause, getting to snuggle with puppies, helping survivors of abuse, and winning bragging rights over your friends. So basically, this entire event is full of awesomeness.

The Freedom K9 Project is a service dog organization training services dogs for the survivors of domestic abuse and sex trafficking. PTSD can occur in the aftermath of any traumatic experience, and that is why 7 out of every 10 psychologically abused women suffer from PTSD. 

All across Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, groups are registering their own fundraising pages to sponsor puppies and raise money to be invited to a free Puppy Gala for participants in the fundraiser! Regardless of how much is raised, participating groups will get acknowledged on the fundraiser page and social media, without having to spend any money to get involved. 

Puppy Sponsors get bi-monthly visits from the puppy for their whole group, with a demonstration of what they're learning and puppy snuggles. They'll also get so participate in the puppy's training and development. Each participant, regardless of their group, will get access to an exclusive email list with updates on the puppy they've sponsored. The group will also be honored on the puppy's page as a sponsored.

Highest raisers in each group get a free customized t-shirt, because bragging rights are awesome and so are t-shirts.
