Thank you for coming to this page! Originally, this page had a default title of "My Personal Fundraising Page", however, I wasn't a fan of that. This isn't for me, I'm not the only one fundraising, and without people like you, this would not exist! So thank you for even considering helping with this great cause. As a reminder, for those financially savvy individuals, these donations are completely tax deductible and this organization receives 100% of your donation, nothing gets skimmed off the top on the way to the kids. And better yet, PwC will match every donation dollar for dollar with no limit. 

JA gives kids K-12 the opportunity to experience real world problems and solutions while in a school setting. This allows them to have an upper hand in making more responsible decisions later on in life when they are out in the real world! JA teaches students the fundamentals of adult decision making, business ownership, personal money management, and much more. PwC, along with many other organizations have supported JA for years both financially and by sending volunteers to teach these kids these life skills.

JA of New York is able to provide over 330 in-school and after-school programs to students in schools all across New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley. They have had a positive impact on over 102,000 students in these areas and continue everyday.

TO PUT THIS PROGRAM IN PERSPECTIVE:

20% of US students will not receive a high school diploma on time. Personally, I went to college to study business and I still feel like it would be overwhelming to start up and run a successful business. Better yet, I was an accounting and finance major and I commonly wake up in the morning wondering if my investment choices for retirement are the right way to go or if I'm doing it all wrong! I could not even imagine what it's like for someone who doesn't have the educational background to give them confidence that they are making the best decision for themselves.
