Jace was born on January 30th premature due to Preeclampsia. I honestly can say I did not know what Preeclampsia was until I was diagnosed with it. I went to the doctors for a check and was told to get straight to the hospital because my blood pressure was way too high. It spiked to 176/98. I needed an emergency C-Section. Things all went so fast and I am very grateful Jace came out strong enough to breathe on his own because so many women who have premature babies as I have aren’t as lucky and my heart aches for those. At first I was told that Jace was not "thriving" as they worded it. He was not gaining weight and was very fussy 24/7. He had a lot of eating issues as his intestines were not fully developed properly just yet. He was put on special prescribed formula that we couldn't just buy at a local store which helped! He finally started growing. He is now such a fun loving, outgoing little burst of energy.
This walk means A LOT to me and I am very grateful to the ones who have walked along side us the previous years. 

We do this walk to help raise awareness!
