--About Queen Anne Helpline--
We have been in the Queen Anne neighborhood since 1981, helping folks stay stably housed through rental assistance and access to the foundational resources we all need to thrive. Clients can come every 30 days to access clothing, food, and hygiene items in our resource center. We are primarily supported financially and with in-kind donations of food and clothing by members of our community--neighbors helping neighbors care for one another.
In addition to the Run for Home, we are always looking for volunteers for a variety of roles. You can visit our website and fill out a volunteer application, or contact us at info@queenannehelpline.org.
--Fundraising Challenge--
This year we're doing something new. After you have registered for the Run for Home 5k, you will have the chance to challenge your friends and family to see who can raise the most for Queen Anne Helpline through social media posts, email appeals, or any other creative way you can think up. Your registration creates your own personal page where you can tell your story about what Queen Anne Helpline means to you, what being a community of belonging means to you, or about a time when you needed help and someone else was there to provide what you needed to get back on your feet.
You can also set up teams if your business, church, school, or family want to work together to challenge another team. This is a great way to remember that we take care of each other.
