The year has finally come where Joshua, Sophia, Isaac, and Izzy are all at the same school! It has been years of preparation and a HUGE answer to prayer. And it is because of fundraisers like this, that we are able to provide this life-changing and life-giving education to each of them. We strongly believe that they can each reach their goal of $200 ($800 total) raised towards the overall school fundraising goal. Thank you for believing in them and for supporting our family as we continue to invest in their education for eternity.
This school community has been a lifeline for our children and for us as a family. As you know, an education at a school like this is not free, nor is it easily affordable, but the sacrifices we make on a daily basis make it all worth it. Brad continues to work a full-time job and pick-up sidework on the weekends. I continue to work 2 part-time Bookkeeping jobs, working around all of the kids activities during and after school. That being said, we so strongly believe in this educational opportunity for our children and thanks to fundraisers like this, we continue to receive signficiant financial aid from WSCA to ensure that our children can remain here.
In addition to Joshua's vertical growth (he is taller than both Brad and I now), he shines when performing theater on stage, singing in the high school choir, and playing basketball. Sophia is expanding her athletic resume, now adding volleyball to softball, flag football, and soccer. Izzy continues to invest in her dance, now taking ballet, tap, and jazz classes weekly, along with taking percussion lessons as part of the school band. And Isaac...what an answer to prayer that he is finally a Bobcat, thriving in the 4th grade at WSCA. He was recently selected to be a part of the 4th grade worship team and "Kindness Squad" at WSCA and is exceeding all expecations socially, academically, and emotionally.
We have much to be thankful for and more great things to come. Thank you for understanding what a tresure we have found at WSCA and look forward to many more years to come.
