I’m Raising + Riding for Phoenix Bikes  and I’d love your support!

This August, I’m riding in Raise + Ride to support Phoenix Bikes, a nonprofit that helps youth thrive through bikes, hands-on learning, and community. 

I volunteer at Phoenix weekly, repairing donated bicycles, leading youth rides, or supporting the youth bicycle racing teams.

Phoenix Bikes is more than just a shop. It’s a place where teens:
Earn a bike and give a bike
 Learn bike mechanics, teamwork, and leadership
Get outside and discover life on a bicycle

They’re also one of the few early, voluntary workforce readiness programs, helping teens build skills and confidence before they fall behind.

But here’s the challenge:
⚠️ Youth demand is outpacing staff capacity
⚠️ They are currently serving 40 youth per 1 staff in the shop
⚠️ Without more funding, they may have to turn kids away

Your donation helps:
✅ Fund staff and youth instructors
✅ Keep programs free and accessible
✅ Ensure no young person is left on the sidelines

This is why I’m riding. Every dollar supports real opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and ride toward a brighter future.
