This August, I'm participating in Raise + Ride to fundraise for Phoenix Bikes, an Arlington nonprofit that uniquely combines youth education programs with a full service bike shop. Phoenix is a fantastic organization that educates youth in grades 6-12 in bike mechanics, allows them to earn their very own bike for free, and gets them out riding, racing, and giving back to the community with their new skills.

In addition to youth programs, Phoenix donates bikes to community members in need and provides affordable sales and service.

By supporting my ride, you're making Phoenix's mission possible: harnessing the power of bikes to help youth build passion, purpose and a place in the community! This organization means a lot to me, so please consider giving to help us reach our Raise + Ride goals and support a great cause!

Here is how your donation can help:
● A $25 donation can provide a new bike lock to every student who earns their own bike to keep.
● A $50 donation can cover the cost of snacks for two youth rides. Phoenix coordinates group rides every Saturday, and they always
involve a treat!
● A $100 donation covers the cost of new brake and shifting cables for one Earn-a-Bike club for 10 students. In these classes, students
learn basic bike mechanics and get to fix up a bike to keep for themselves.
● A $250 donation covers entry fees for one youth to compete in bike races throughout the fall!
● A $500 donation can pay for a month of supplies for youth mechanics programs, such as tools, brushes, cleaning supplies and
replacement cables.
● A $1000 donation covers the cost of meals and supplies for two awesome overnight bike-camping trips that teach youth about
endurance, teamwork, and bike-camping equipment.
