We're Raising + Riding for Phoenix Bikes  and I’d love your support!

This August, Lucy and I are riding in Raisin' Ride to support Phoenix Bikes, a nonprofit that helps youth thrive through bikes, hands-on learning, and community.

We will be riding the whole kielbasa - 100 miles - on our tandem together. I intend to beat her to the finish line! (by a couple feet)

Phoenix Bikes is more than just a shop. It’s a remarkable not-for-profit organization and third space where teens:
Earn a bike and give a bike
 Learn bike mechanics, teamwork, and leadership
Get outside and discover their power and purpose

They’re also one of the few early, voluntary workforce readiness programs, helping teens build skills and confidence before they fall behind.

Here are the challenges we need your help with:
⚠️ Youth demand is outpacing staff capacity
⚠️ They are currently serving 40 youth per 1 staff in the shop
⚠️ Without more funding, Phoenix may have to turn kids away

Your donation helps:
✅ Fund staff and youth instructors
✅ Keep programs free and accessible
✅ Ensure no young person is left on the sidelines
