Hey, Bike Peeps! I'm Raising and Riding for Phoenix Bikes!!!!

As many of you know, I started working there in October, and this organization has changed my life! I have found my bike home, and I'm so happy and grateful that I get paid to do what I love, teaching people, specifically the youth, how to fix bikes and develop a love for cycling. 

On August 1st, I'm leading the Party Pace century in Raisin' Ride, from Arlington to Purcellville, VA, alongside the youth I work with as Youth Program Manager. 

Phoenix Bikes helps teens earn a bike, learn mechanics and leadership, and build confidence through one of the few early workforce readiness programs around. However, the demand is outpacing capacity. We're serving 40 youth per staff member, and funding is what keeps these opportunities open to every teen. 

Here's the fun part: this is a fundraising contest, and I want our youth team to raise the most money for this incredible cause. Every donation gets us closer to the top spot and funds real opportunities for teens.
