Animals know when their humans are hurting - physically or emotionally - and try to comfort them. "Nurse Sparky" has stayed by my side throughout my cancer journey to comfort me and to entertain me.
We adopted Sparky from RAL in 2025. She has been a "spark" of love and enjoyment.
