October is an exceptionally painful month for not only myself and my family to go through but many families throughout the world. It's pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. October 15th is the day where all families that have lost their children mourn their loss. Families will participate in awareness walks or even light a candle in remembrance of their child. This is a tragic loss that isn't talked about. Most people don't even know October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month unless it's happened to them. I believe this needs to change. There needs to be more support for the families that have experienced this loss. You not only lose your child, but you also lost your future, your hopes and dreams. It's the journey of grief that's going home instead of that beautiful child. 

I am raising funds to help support families who are going through this horrible journey. It is the most difficult and most painful thing in the whole world to have to plan a funeral for the child you held but couldn't bring home or the struggle of finding a therapist to talk to that specializes in this type of grief. I am fundraising to help support research so no mother or father has to feel the pain I carry every single day of my life.  I am doing this in remembrance of my daughter Amelia Rose. Her time was brief but yet powerful and the bond we shared will never be broken. My heart will forever hold a space that can never be filled. I will always be thankful to the little soul that made me a mother. Not a single day goes by that I don't wish she could be here. 

I raise awareness by sharing her life. Talking about her, and being there to let others know they don't have to carry this burden alone. Because I promise, you are not alone. The grief will never end but you live your new "normal" as best as you possibly can. ?
