Renew Community Space Fundraiser
We are raising funds to create a newly reimagined Community Space at Renew — a place designed for women and families seeking refuge in Glen Ellyn and throughout DuPage County to gather, learn, and thrive. This renovated space will host shared meals, classes, and community programming that foster connection, stability, and growth. With the breakroom renovation provided at cost, your generosity helps make this space fully functional and deeply welcoming, ensuring it can serve many needs and many people for years to come.
EXCITING UPDATE: We did it! Thanks to your generosity, we’ve reached our original $20,000 goal to renovate the Community Space.
With this momentum, we’re setting a new stretch goal of $30,000 to expand renovations into our bathroom and classroom areas, creating an even more welcoming and functional space for the women and families we serve.
Anything beyond $30,000 will go toward helping launch new artisan programs to increase the holistic care and increase ministry impact.
Thank you for partnering with us to bring this vision to life!

Current break area
Meals are a huge part of our ministry and the leaking utility sink is no longer serving us well. We have a committed contractor and designer to reimagine the breakroom to install new cabinets and sink.
Closing in the furnace
One of the biggest pain points is the loud furnace right in the middle of our community space. It makes it extremely difficult to hear so we're working with the contractor and designer to build walls to close in the furnace and reduce the noise so english classes, bible classes, and more can continue in peace.
Current community space
This table host classrooms, meetings, mentoring and more on a daily basis. To expand ministry impact, we're working with a designer to make this space modular with an adjustable table, new cabinets for materials, and make it truly welcoming for our refugee women and families.
