The Red Shoe Ride was my very first organized bike ride. I rode solo, and struggled to finish, but I made it through 60+ miles knowing that I had done something great. My own accomplishments paled in comparison to the knowledge that I had helped a vital local organization raise critical funds to support their services for families all over the area and beyond.
Last year, I came back for my second Red Shoe Ride, and am proud to say that my family and friends helped me achieve the status of top fundraiser! Even better, the Ronald McDonald House achieved their overall fundraising goal.
Im back again this year to do my part to help out. I have a title to defend, but I can't do it alone.
