Over the past year, I've volunteered countless hours educating voters and collecting signatures to get our citizen initiative on the November 2026 ballot. In May, we turned in 367,000 signatures and broke the record for the number of signatures gathered by volunteers in our state!

Now, Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins has unilaterally declared our citizen initiative unconstitutional and is refusing to certify the 367,000 signatures we submitted. This is despite the fact that his own office reviewed our petition and approved it for circulation last year.

We are confident our ballot measure complies with the Missouri Constitution and are going to fight this in court. We believe this is an attempt to subvert the will of the people and run out the clock to prevent Missourians from having the opportunity to vote on this measure.
