You Can Make a Difference!

Walk, run, or make a donation with my team to transform the lives of Trenton community youth!

Dear Family and Friends,

Join me to make a difference in the lives of Trenton area youth.

I am lacing up my sneakers to empower the 2,000 kids that attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County NJ each year to overcome tremendous challenges and reach new goals every day. Our collective impact over the past 85 years is significant. It can be felt throughout Trenton and beyond. 

This year’s Run for Club Kids will be in-person at the Meadows Miler event at Rosedale Park, Pennington, NJ on November 5th. 

I am seeking your support to raise $1,000. Your donation will be totally tax-deductible. Those funds will enable: 

  • One Club Kid to attend our after school program for 6 months or
  • Two Club Kids to attend our summer camp for 5 weeks - $500 each or
  • 20 Club Kids to attend a cooking, art, or sports program - $50 each

I have chosen to fundraise for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County because it is a lifesaver to kids in the Trenton area community. The Club It’s been providing life-enhancing programs after school, on weekends, and over the summer,  to those in the area who need it most. Recently I sat down with a couple of our teen members who told me that the Boys & Girls Clubs is a place of opportunities that they can call home. They come to the Club to play chess, dance, and prepare for their future. 95% of our teens go to college. The most famous people who have come from the Boys & Girls Clubs around the country include Denzel Washington, JLo, and Shaquille O’Neal.

About BGC Mercer:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provides young people, ages 5-18, with educational, social, and recreational activities through after-school, summer and online programs.  Programs focus on building bright futures!  Each year BGC Mercer gives 2,600 youth access to character development, college and career preparation, and tools for healthy-living.  Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
