6 Years of Changing Lives:

Founded in 2017 by co-chairs Bill Sheehy & RJ Lewis, proceeds from Run for Club Kids provide BGC Mercer with funds that provide critical support to our programs like College Access, Career, and After School Programs.  Bill and RJ are believers that by providing opportunities to a young person you can change the whole trajectory of a life. In our first 5 years, Run for Club Kids has raised over $800,000.  Funds raised by this event help us to sustain the over $600,000 per year cost of providing our teen initiatives, after school programs and more...Join Bill & RJ as they continue to change the lives of youth!

About BGC Mercer:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provides young people ages 5-18, with educational, social, and recreational activities. Our programs offered after school (currently full day) and over the summer, focus on combatting learning loss and the education gap and developing social-emotional competency and leadership skills. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
