On June 27th, we will be participating in the Ride for the Living, a 60-mile bike ride from Auschwitz-Birkenau to Krakow, Poland. This powerful ride brings people together to honor the past while supporting a vibrant Jewish future.
We are taking part in this ride to complete a journey Fred started last year. As the son of Holocaust survivors, it was deeply personal to him. He was incredibly passionate and excited to participate. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly just weeks before it. He never got to experience the ride or see the full impact of what he started.
This year, we are riding in his place and in his honor. We are riding to carry forward something that meant so much to him, to honor his parents and all those who lost their lives in the Holocaust. The ride supports the Krakow JCC, helping Holocaust survivors, Ukrainian refugees, and the broader community.
We’re riding because he can’t, to make him proud, and to carry on his legacy. If you feel moved to support, it would truly mean so much to us.
