Hey everyone! I ran into the organizer of the Ridge-A-Thon on the hill last week and this is my last-minute entry and attempt to raise some dollars for the Taos Community Foundation Emergency Medical Fund in the name of Ben Myers. I've been hiking the ridge since I was a line cook at the Bavarian back in 2003/4, and the ridge has been good to me. The ski valley has been good to my family since the 70s, and I just felt like it was time to try and give a little something back to the community. Hoping for 20 laps over the course of the event, and it would be a real show of support for this ski bum and the cause if my donors were willing to donate anywhere between $3-5 for a snowboard run and $5-7 for a ski run. Skiing is my weaker discipline, hence the difference in donation requests. Have fun out there!
