I’m thrilled to be participating in Hearts of the House, a fundraiser supporting Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana! I’m passionate about this cause because when your child or loved one is fighting the family shouldn't have to worry about shelter or meals. Ronald McDonald House creates a community that surrounds families who need a simple hello, a smile, or even a hug. I walked through the doors and I knew that each person was there because they believe in creating a space where people can feel seen, heard, and valued.

There are so many great causes and it can be difficult to pick one. I didn't hesitate to say yes to this one because I have been touched by families who have experienced extended hospital stays. One of my mentors in Dale Carnegie was Seth Mohorn. Seth spent countless days, weeks, etc. at UAMS. Seth created happiness for others during his darkest days. He would be the first to step up and pay for this room.

For more than 45 years, Ronald McDonald House has provided a home away from home for families whose children are receiving medical care. Our mission is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Families stay at no cost while remaining close to their child during some of the most difficult times. 

Every gift is tax-deductible.100% of funds raised stay, and every contribution, regardless of size, helps a family stay strong so they can remain in their child’s fight.
