Uteruses Before Duderuses

The road to parenthood is not always easy. It can be full of disappointments and setbacks. Even when you skip out on lunch meat and your daily morning coffee, things can still go wrong. As prevalent as miscarriage and pregnancy loss are, it is often never talked about. We are taught to keep our pregnancies to ourselves until we are "safe" to avoid telling others of our loss. Because of this, families are often suffering in silence and grieving alone. Over the past year, Jason and I have had 4 miscarriages, various tests and procedures and endless appointments along our fertility journey. Being diagnosed with unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss often feels like a hopeless battle. When there are no explanations, it can feel like the world is against you. Through all the tears and heartache, we continue to fight to one day hold our rainbow baby.
