NEW FOR 2026: We’re excited to introduce Community Participation Opportunities—a new on-site tabling option for local businesses, community partners, and mission-aligned organizations to engage directly with Rainbow Run participants on race day. These opportunities offer a dedicated space to connect with an audience of 400+ runners and walkers at Pier 45, while demonstrating a shared commitment to LGBTQ+ health and wellness.
Now in its 11th Annual year, Callen-Lorde’s Rainbow Run is a 5K or 10K fun run and leisure walk that celebrates health, wellness, and community—while supporting the lifesaving work of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. The in-person event will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Pier 45 in Hudson River Park.
Gathering starts at 9AM. Race starts at 10AM.
For those outside the NYC area—or who prefer to participate virtually—participants may choose any day between May 9 and May 17 to complete their run or walk in the comfort of their own neighborhood. Each year, Rainbow Run brings together hundreds of supporters in New York and across the country, united by a shared commitment to LGBTQ+ health, visibility, and care for all.
