This is an illness that is widely misunderstood and also mostly unheard of. Awareness is needed for those living with this disability. Those close to me know why this is important to me. My goal is to help bring awareness to this horrifying and life changing disease and to help those suffering without understanding. Known sadly as "The Suicide Illness" -understanding is needed to help people to get diagnosed immediately without it taking 2 years and 8 doctors on average and for families/friends etc to be supportive and understanding.
