I was diagnosed with CRPS/RSD when it reached an acute stage in 2018 affecting my whole body, but have apparently had it for many years, explaining many unexplained health crises. I became so ill, I had to retire and have spent the past year focusing on getting this disease under control. CRPS, or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (also RSD, Reigonal Sympathetic Dystrophy) is a life-altering neuroinflammatory disorder that is the most painful of all medical conditions according to the McGill University Pain Scale. CRPS is rated more painful than cancer, amputation, childbirth and kidney stones. There is no cure and, like any chronic disease, its progression can only be temporarily reversed, stalled or slowed.
