I have been battling CRPS for almost 15 years, and unfortunately this is a condition in which there is no cure.  On September 5, 2005, I was injured playing volleyball and my entire life changed.  I hope that events such as these will help raise awareness for this rare syndrome in the hopes that we can find better treatments and eventually a cure!

Thankfully I have the support of an amazing family who has been with me through the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the hurdles, and the successes, and I know not everyone is as fortunate.  After I was first injured and CRPS started becoming more debilitating a lot of friends stespped out of my life and showed their true colors, but I found wonderful people who have become such amazing, true friends, and for that I am very grateful.
