My JA Story

I have been involved in JA for the past 15 years in different capacities. I’ve began as a classroom volunteer and was fortunate to witness first hand how the programming impacted the young students. I was asked to join the JA of Eastern Iowa Board, where I worked to provide strategic direction and make a further impact through fundraising activities. I was forced to resign my board position when I took a position overseas with RSM, but re-engaged with JA of Southeast Texas as a current board member, when my family repatriated to Houston. The impact this organization has provided through their mission to inspire and prepare your people to succeed, is truly amazing.
